This is a sturdy sterling silver chain in a Byzantine design with an S-clasp with a garnet stone. (A lobster clasp is optional, and allows you to hook into any length of the chain; please specify "lobster clasp" in the checkout instructions). The widest part (not including S-clasp) measures approximately 5.9mm in width. A 20 inch chain weighs approximately 38 grams. This chain is a great option for supporting medium to large-sized pendants and for men as a necklace.
