Think of it this way: 1 gram is about a paper clip, 3–4 grams is about a sugar packet, and 5 grams is about a US nickel. Yes. Our sterling silver earrings are made with 925 sterling silver, and some of our Greek workshops craft with an even higher silver content, closer to 935 silver. Sterling silver is a durable, beautiful precious metal that works especially well for handcrafted earrings, from simple everyday styles to detailed artisan designs.

The difference is the gold content. 14k gold contains more strengthening alloy, which makes it slightly more durable for everyday wear, while 18k gold has a higher percentage of pure gold and a richer gold tone. Both are beautiful choices for fine earrings, and both can last for generations when well cared for. If you prefer a practical daily-wear option, 14k gold is a wonderful choice. If you love a warmer, richer gold color, 18k gold may be the one that makes your heart do a little Greek dance.
