Our Greek Jewelry Designers
Every designer we work with is a small, family-run workshop in and around Athens, Greece. They don’t have storefronts. Most don’t sell online. They create handcrafted silver and gold jewelry quietly, the traditional way — and we work with them directly. Through Athena Gaia, you’re given rare access to these makers: authentic Greek jewelry, produced just for you, with custom sizes, finishes, and details that big retail brands simply can’t offer.

How Greek Jewelry Is Really Made (and How You’re Able to Buy It)
Most of the finest Greek jewelry is not made by large brands or factories. It’s created inside small workshops tucked into neighborhoods around Athens, where silversmiths and goldsmiths work at benches passed down through generations.
These artisans don’t operate retail stores. Most don’t run websites. Their work is traditionally sold locally to Plaka and the islands, through relationships built over decades.
That’s where Athena Gaia comes in.
For more than 20 years, we’ve worked directly with these workshops — visiting them in person, knowing the makers by name, and bringing their work to customers who would otherwise never have access to it.
When you order from us, your piece is often made specifically for you in Greece. That’s why we can offer custom lengths, sizes, metal combinations, and finishes.
You’re not buying from inventory.
You’re buying from the bench of a Greek artisan.
This is not mass-produced jewelry.
This is how Greek jewelry has always been made.
And now, you’re part of that story.
