Pop Rocks by Gerochristo

“Pop Rocks” is the nickname we gave to all the Gerochristo jewelry that use Quartz Doublet stones. A doublet is when they take a thin layer of a stone like Ruby or Amethyst and fuse it to a big clear piece of quartz—and the effect looks like a very large, very bright ruby (or amethyst or aquamarine or whatever the base stone was). We call them “Pop Rocks” because they are (technically speaking) “rocks” and because they POP (visually), plus that was one of our favorite candies as kids!
