The Originals
The Gold Border crosses are the "O.G." of the range and are unique in the Gerochristo catalog in that the gold is exposed at the edge of the composition rather than protected by a silver border.

The Popular Choice
The Gerochristo's moved onto a silver format with Zircon and Rhodolite center stones and a little history was made. These quickly became some of the most popular pieces in the catalog and remain near the top to this day

Adding some color
Gerochristo recently added gold plating as options for this design. Typically they are averse to G.P. due to it's lack of long-term durability, but in this case the applied areas are recessed and protected by the silver framing ... and honestly it looks fantastic.

A few notes
The crosses are of standard size, ranging from 1.2 to 1.3 inches in height including the bale.
One thing you'll discover is the tiny garnet at the top of the bale, and a reverse side that's also intricately etched.

in Gold Plate
Gold plating is an exception for us due to durability, but the treated areas on these crosses is recessed so that brushing up against clothing won't wear it thin. Each piece has a triple coating for maximum endurance but avoid salt or chlorinated water.
A focus on the
Mother of Pearl
When Spiros Gerochristo slid a layer of MoP into place he just added an interior cross and rubies! It's one of the few places in the catalog where gold (plating on these) is displayed on top of a stone
