Garden Shadows is a progression from the "Monastiraki" collection which is briefly explained in this video.
The "progression" was two-fold: First; Spiros freed himself from the designs on the church and went with floral patterns. Second; in many cases the backing piece of silver was also perforated.
The effect is similar; to invite the imagination to another place. But instead of a historical and religious direction, we are invited into an ancient garden full of deep and calming serenity.
